Personalised 11+ Tuition and UK School Admissions Support

I’m Chloe, an experienced 11+ tutor specialising in entrance exam preparation and UK school admissions support.

With over 12 years of experience working with children, I have supported many families through the 11+ journey, helping children prepare for competitive independent school, grammar school and boarding school entrance exams.

Before specialising in 11+ tuition, I worked as a primary school teacher in both Australia and London. I hold a Bachelor of Education (Primary), and my classroom teaching experience has given me a strong understanding of how children learn, develop confidence and reach their full potential.

I now provide personalised face-to-face tuition in London and online tuition for families across the UK and internationally.

My Approach to Tutoring

One of the things I love most about tutoring is the opportunity to work closely with each child as an individual.

In a classroom environment, teachers work incredibly hard to support a wide range of abilities, but with many different needs within one class, it can be challenging to provide every child with the exact level of support, challenge and attention they require.

Through personalised one-to-one tutoring, I am able to tailor lessons specifically to each child. For children who need additional support in certain areas, I can focus on building their understanding, confidence and skills before moving forward. For children who are ready for greater challenge, I can extend their learning and help them continue to develop.

I believe that strong foundations, regular revision and a clear understanding of concepts are essential. I revisit areas where children need further practice, helping them build confidence and ensuring their knowledge is secure.

While academic progress is important, I also believe confidence plays a huge role in a child’s success. My aim is for every child to feel supported, motivated and proud of their progress.

Seeing children grow in confidence and achieve things they once found challenging is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

11+ Preparation and School Admissions Guidance

Preparing for the 11+ is about much more than practising exam questions. I support children across maths, English, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning, while also helping families understand the wider admissions process.

I have experience preparing children for a range of entrance assessments, including London independent school assessments, grammar school entrance exams, ISEB Common Pre-Test and school-specific assessments.

Alongside academic preparation, I provide guidance to families throughout the school selection process. I understand that choosing the right school is about finding the best fit for each child, not simply applying to the most competitive schools.

I enjoy helping parents understand their options, consider suitable schools based on their child’s individual strengths and needs, and make informed decisions about their child’s educational journey.

Online Tuition for Families Worldwide

I offer structured online tuition for families across the UK and internationally.

My online lessons are designed to be engaging, interactive and personalised. I use carefully selected online resources, set targeted homework and monitor progress between sessions to ensure children continue developing outside of their weekly lesson.

For families living overseas, I understand that navigating the UK education system can feel unfamiliar. I provide support not only with exam preparation, but also with understanding UK school expectations, admissions processes and how best to prepare children for their chosen pathway.

I chose to specialise in tutoring because I love seeing the moment when a child understands something that once felt difficult.

Outside of Tutoring

Outside of teaching, I love travelling and experiencing different cultures around the world. I particularly enjoy exploring Asia and Europe, discovering local food, customs and the unique experiences each place has to offer.

Travel has always been something that brings me a great deal of happiness, and I enjoy learning about different communities and perspectives.
